Winery Review: This bright, soft Merlot comes from a hilly vineyard on the Alcesti family estate in beautiful Sicily. It has hints of red cherries and freshly cut hay. Exceptional value.

My Review: I found this Merlot to be rather bland and mellow.  The nose was light with a very slight aroma of cherry.  The palette was also hard to distinguish.

I tasted this on its own with no food.
